“If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
I’m 22 years old and I graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in December of 2017. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a media studies focus. Shortly after that, my next step was to relocate to San Antonio, Texas in order to immerse myself in a much larger job market with room to grow professionally. After two months of job hunting, I was hired on in March with iHeartRadio as an Affiliate Services Representative. I am very thrilled about this new opportunity and what opportunities it’s going to open me up to in the future.
In my free time, I’m working as a freelance blogger for UniMedia and starting as a social media manager for an up-and-coming consulting company. I’ve found immense joy in gathering skills and experiences that I can put to use in future opportunities.
As far as personal interests go, I have quite a few.
I love being active and being outside. I love the sun–maybe a bit too much sometimes. (It doesn’t always love me back if you know what I mean.) I play tennis, and have been playing since I could walk. I am currently the team captain of a Sand Volleyball team through the San Antonio Social Club. I’m no pro at sand volleyball, but it is loads of fun!
Another hobby/passion of mine is photography. Taking photos is one of my favorite ways to express myself creatively, and taking the pictures is only half the fun. Editing the photos afterward gives me complete creative freedom.
What I consider to be my biggest passion though, is traveling. I have a serious case of what they call “wanderlust” and it’s not going away anytime soon. Everything I do is centered around the idea of making travel dreams come true.
On that note, one of my favorite places is on the beach. It doesn’t particularly matter what beach I’m on (although some are better than others), I love it.
Lastly, like any other 22-year-old, I love spending time with my friends and family. I believe in the philosophy that experiences are worth more than possessions, so I spend as much time as possible procuring amazing memories with the ones I love.
